The City Business License office is located at Civic Center at 200 Old Bernal Avenue in the downtown complex next to the Library and the Police Station. Our office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The general phone number is (925) 931-5440.

A business license is required in order to conduct business with the City of Pleasanton. City Business Licenses are governed by municipal ordinance and you can view regulations and entering a search for business license.

A business license may be obtained by visiting our offices or by using the information listed below. Some business applications require review by the City Department of Planning and Community Development.
