In February 2002 the Pleasanton Police Department premiered our local cable television show, "COPPS in Pleasanton", on cable channel 30. The show is taped once a month and airs on CTV-30 every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday evening at 8:00pm as well as other times when programming allows.
The show provides an inside view of the Pleasanton Police Department, its functions, programs and individual employees. The program strives to be informative and educational by tackling hot topics of the day. Everything from barking dogs and speeding cars to teenage drinking and drug abuse are discussed and explored. Viewers are also kept up to date on crime trends and what is occurring around the City. The show's co-hosts, Sergeant Michael Collins and Officer Michael Bradley, encourage viewer input and participation through interviews and guest segments.
