Chief’s Vision for the Pleasanton Police Department

As Chief of the Pleasanton Police Department, my vision for the organization is to continue to provide the highest quality of law enforcement service and customer satisfaction possible to our community.  I expect this to be accomplished while paying attention to the details in everything that we do, day-in and day-out.

I envision an organization that recognizes the spirit of the law and makes decisions accordingly.  Professionalism shall be demonstrated through ethical behavior and integrity at all times.

Although the time has come for a return to the basics, it is not my intention to abandon community outreach.  We will continue to evaluate and provide those services while looking for new innovative programs that will bolster our community oriented philosophy.

I intend to continue to ensure that the Department remains well equipped and trained.  Technology is a very important part of this and we will strive to keep abreast of the latest trends and cutting edge products that will benefit our mission of providing the best law enforcement service possible.
