Pleasanton Community Garden Patch Program

The Department of Parks and Community Services is facilitating a community garden in Val Vista Community Park, projected to open in Winter 2006.  The garden will be comprised of 34 patches, each 12’6” x 18’, (225 sq. ft.).  Applications and general garden information will be available in the Department’s Winter 2006 Activity Guide.

Applications will be accepted on a first come, first served basis from Pleasanton residents only.  All gardeners will be required to complete a Patch License Agreement and pay an annual non-refundable Patch Fee of $75 ($40 after July 1 for the remainder of the year).

Prospective gardeners who are not issued a patch will be placed on a waitlist in order of application receipt.  For additional information, please contact Kathy Southern, Community Gardens Coordinator by calling (925) 931-5356 or by email.
