The City offers a Youth Scholarship Program that provides up to $200 in matching funds for Pleasanton youth (ages 18 and under).  The matching funds can be used to participate in classes or activities offered by the Parks and Community Services Department, or for wholesome youth recreational or developmental programs provided by nonprofit organizations.

Eligibility is determined by family income each year, and proof of income is required.  All applications are kept confidential.  Eligibility is not carried over from one fiscal year to the next; families need to reapply each year to be eligible.

Matching funds are granted and available on a fiscal year basis (July 1-June 30).  Any unused matching funds cannot be carried over from one fiscal year to the next.
