Learn Life-Saving Skills and Be Better Prepared With CERT!

Community Emergency Response Team

Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Basic Training is a seven-week program taught by Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department personnel.  The program is designed to prepare you to help your family, neighborhood or community in the event of an emergency or disaster.

The Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department typically hosts a Fall and Spring class.  The classes are held at LPFD Training Facility in Pleasanton.  The course consists of 6 weekly weekday classes with a final simulation drill scheduled on a weekend day to practice learned skills.  Class size is limited to 40 persons.  Attendance at all class sessions is required to successfully complete the class and to receive your CERT Basic Training Certification.
